Sisters in the Journey (SIJ) is a ministry committed to providing women of all ages, race and levels of spiritual maturity with opportunities and support to realize their goals and aspirations.

VISION:

SIJ Vision is to see women connecting spiritually with a desire to never see a sister journey alone.

VALUES:

Sisters “praying” on the journey.

Prayer is a privilege God has given us to communicate with Him on behalf of ourselves and others. James 5:16

Sisters “connecting” on the journey.

Connecting provides strength. Maturity comes when we are converted; allowing us to strengthen our sisters through discipleship and mentoring. Romans 12:15

Sisters “learning” on the journey.

The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God, studying God’s word is essential to spiritual growth. Romans 15:14

Sisters “fellowshipping” on the journey.

Providing a community of sisters to share experiences, to dine and love one another. 1 Peter 4:9

Sisters “sharing” on the journey.

As we give our TIME and TREASURES, God blesses us to be a blessing. Philanthropic opportunities are our focus. Galatians 6:10

Sisters “resting” on the journey.

Restoration is required on the journey. “Come away for a while”; retreat and rest in the Lord. Mark 6:31
